Baby Bottoms is a cloth diaper service for Northeast Ohio (Cleveland to Akron and Canton). We’re here to provide you with a weekly supply of either our modern all-in-one or unbleached organic cotton diapers that we launder using an EPA Safer Choice certified detergent. So that, in the process, we leave the smallest eco-footprint possible. If you’d like to cloth diaper but find the prospect to be overwhelming, then consider us your one-stop low-fuss solution!

How do we sign up?
There is a great deal of information exchanged during the sign up process, because of this we ask that only the parents themselves do the signing up.

How far in advance should we sign-up?
We schedule your prebirth delivery to occur a week or two before your due date so that you are prepared before baby comes. Your service will be on hold until your little is born so you can sign up as far in advance as you would like. We do recommend at least a month before hand so that you can secure your spot and so that we have time to get your order ready.
If your baby is already here or is expected very soon, then simply sign up and allow atleast a week or two for us to prepare and deliver your first set of diapers.
You provide the diapers, what else do we need?
We provide and launder the diapers while you purchase and maintain your own accessories. The accessories that we think are the Must-Haves are bundled into the Starter Packages that we offer, but if you’re compiling your accessories from friends or a’ la carte, here’s what we think is needed:
- 4 – 6 diaper covers
- 1 – 3 snappi fasteners
- 1 – 2 travel wetbags for your diaper bag
- cloth friendly diaper balm
How often and what time are the diapers picked up?
We service your neighborhood one day each week between 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Upon signing up, you’ll be given your designated weekly “Diaper Exchange Day.” So just have your dirty diapers out no later than 9:00 AM on your Diaper Exchange Day and we will swing by to swap them out with a fresh set!
What is your wash process?
Our wash process uses minimal chemistry at extremely high temperatures in commercial washer extractors.
We use a plant-derived detergent that has been DFE-certified by the EPA.
All in all, our diapers are fully cleaned, sanitized, pH balanced, and rinsed so that no soap or residue remains that could irritate your baby’s skin.
Every step of the way, your baby and our environment are our priorities.
What if this is my first time with cloth?
Most BBDS families start out as rookies … so you are in good company. Once you have signed up for service you will recieve a diaper demo, member manual, and access to videos on how to use our diapers that you will be able to easily access as a reminder once your baby arrives. You’ll be changing your baby approximately 10 – 12 times a day, so with all that practice you’ll be a pro in no time.

Once I've signed up, how do I make changes to my service?
As part of signing-up, you’ll create a personal My Account page where you can view and manage your service, address, and payment methods. And, you will have access to insider tips, videos, and advice for each diapering stage. As your baby grows, and as you have questions, you will be in contact with Carie, the Mom behind Baby Bottoms, to adjust your personalized service as needed.
How do Gift Certificates work?
Just direct family and friends to the Gift our Service page.
Here, they can purchase Gift Certificates for you in any amount that they’d like.
We then email them the certificate so that they can personally give it to you.
To redeem your certificate: Enter the gift certificate code as a “coupon” during checkout. If you have recieved multiple gift certificates and would like for us to combine them into one simple to use code, just email us and let us know.
Balances on gift certiticates do not automatically roll over to the next month of diaper service. If you would like to apply your gift certificate balance to your ongoing diaper service, just let us know.
One important note: just like any store, service or restaurant, our Gift Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash and they expire after two years. However, they are fully transferrable and can be used for both service or products found in our SHOP.
How does billing work?
If you have Gift Certificates, see “How do Gift Certificates work?” above.
When you sign up for service, you are paying for your first 4 weeks of diaper service upfront. Your diaper service is then on hold, until your baby is born and using our diapers.
Your first diaper exchange counts as the end of week one. Before the end of week 4, you will be automatically billed for your next 4 weeks of service.
Do we have to sign up for a long-term contract?
You are not locked into any one service and there is no long-term contract. Just four weeks is all we require to get started. You can try out as many different service options as you want until you find the perfect one for your family. You may cancel service at any time.
How many diapers am I provided?
On your first delivery you will receive your first set of diapers (80 small diapers for example). On your second delivery you will receive the next set (another 80 small). You now have all your diapers (160 small) in rotation, so on your next delivery, you will receive back the amount of diapers that you set out the week before.
Small diapers: 80 per week (160 in rotation)
Medium diapers: 60 per week (120 in rotation)
Large diapers: 50 per week (100 in rotation)
Extra Large diapers: 40 per week (80 in rotation)
Newborn All-In-One diapers: 70 per week (140 in rotation)
One Size All-In-One diapers: 50 per week (100 in rotation)
Do you have special pricing for twins / multiples?
Yes! Each additional child added to your account will receive 50% off their weekly service fee.
Just email us to let us know the good news and we will set everything up on our end and start preparing for your next baby’s diaper service or doubling up your diapers supply if you are expecting twins.
Who owns the diapers when we are done?
You are essentially renting the diapers as part of the service. So as your baby grows, you simply request the next size up and turn in the smaller size. We carry 2 sizes of our all-in-one diapers, 4 sizes or our cotton diapers, plus potty learning underwear to ensure that you have the diapers that you need as your baby grows. At the end of your diaper service, you will turn in all the diapers, wipes, rented covers, pail & green delivery bags. We believe in the reduce, reuse and sharing economy as a means towards our collective goal of a zero-waste and minimalist lifestyle.
We only ever use your email address to communicate with you regarding any changes to your weekly diaper service and to provide tips when your baby has reached a diapering milestone/transition period. And we will never share your information with any third parties, ever.
